A unit of Shenzhen Investment Holdings Bay Area Development (HKG:0737) and Guangdong Highway Construction will make a capital contribution to Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Zhuhai Superhighway, a joint filing by Shenzhen Expressway (HKG:0548, SHA:600548) and Shenzhen International (HKG:0152) on Jan. 24 said.
Of this, unit Hopewell China Development and Guangdong Highway Construction will contribute, by way of registered capital, 3.29 billion yuan and 4.02 billion yuan, respectively.
Following completion, Hopewell China Development and Guangdong Highway Construction will hold a 45% and 55% equity stake in Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Zhuhai Superhighway, respectively.
Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Zhuhai Superhighway engages mainly in the construction, operation, and management of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen section of the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway.
