NoviqTech (ASX:NVQ) entered into a strategic partnership with Evercity to advance global carbon markets, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The partnership will combine Evercity's expertise in onboarding carbon projects with NoviqTech's Carbon Central platform tools for monitoring, reporting, and verification, the filing said. It will also extend NoviqTech's reach into emerging markets, including East Africa, where Evercity has a strong presence.
The partnership involves joint exploration of potential projects, sharing technical expertise and resources, and identifying aligned market opportunities.
The agreement can be terminated by mutual agreement or a 30-day notice.
NoviqTech's shares rose almost 5% in recent trading on Wednesday.
