Analog Devices posted the biggest gain of any company in the latest Management Top 250 in scores for social responsibility, followed by Intuit and Juniper Networks.
The Management Top 250 ranking compares companies using the late management guru Peter Drucker's principles. Companies are graded in five categories: customer satisfaction, innovation, social responsibility, employee engagement and development, and financial strength. The statistical model that produces the ranking was created by researchers at Claremont Graduate University's Drucker Institute. Bendable Labs, a private firm, works with Drucker to perform the calculations and interpret them.
Analog Devices' social-responsibility score increased 9.9 points, to 71, placing the company sixth in the category among the Management Top 250. Intuit's score for the category climbed 9.6 points to 67 and Juniper's score rose 7.4 points to 64.4.
Analog Devices is ranked 111th overall, Intuit 24th -- the highest overall rank among the biggest gainers in social responsibility -- and Juniper 171st.
Uber Technologies, which had the sixth-biggest gain in social responsibility, also is among the biggest gainers in overall score in the Management Top 250.
You can explore the full, detailed rankings here. Highlights featured in the coming weeks will include the leaders in social responsibility and other categories, and the biggest gainers in each of the other four components of the overall ranking.
