Tanami Gold (ASX:TAM) said assays from a four-hole reverse circulation pre-collar diamond core tail program completed at the Jims gold mine, part of the Central Tanami project in the Northern Territory, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The program returned several significant intercepts including one of 3.8 meters at a grade of 268.3 grams-per-tonne grade of gold from a depth of 317 meters.
The Central Tanami project is a 50-50 joint venture between the firm and Northern Star Resources (ASX:NST).
The company said the findings justify further exploration, with planning for exploration programs in 2025 underway. Drilling is expected to resume in May.
