Trigg Minerals (ASX:TMG) submitted exploration licenses for the Bukkulla antimony project, an extension to the Nundle goldfield and the Tia antimony project in New South Wales, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The Bukkulla project includes a historic mine, which previously produced up to 25% antimony, and a recent rock chip sample showed a 22.9% grade of antimony.
It plans to conduct geophysical surveys, sampling, and drilling programs once its applications are granted, to test the depth extensions of the mine and explore high-priority targets within the Nundle goldfield.
Its shares rose past 2% in recent trading on Tuesday.
