U-Haul Holding (UHAL) said Tuesday its full-service facility at 400 Orchard Drive in West Columbia, South Carolina, has closed various services and is now a remotely-operated facility.
The company said six jobs were cut due to the closing of several services, such as trailer and towing equipment rentals and truck sales.
U-Haul said customers can refer to the Cayce facility located two miles away from the West Columbia center for services that were halted at the Orchard Drive store.
