1213 ET - The tariff situation remains fluid after the U.S. and Mexico announce a one-month delay in implementation and President Trump says in a post on his Truth Social account that he would speak with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau this afternoon. This leaves analysts unsure what the proposed tariffs might mean for North American economies. "Trump's decisions remain highly unpredictable, and it will only be after the tariffs have been in place for several weeks or months that the true impact on the economy or the average consumer can be assessed," says Hani Abuagla of XTB MENA in a note.
