Prudential (HKG:2378, SGX:K6S) bought back 260,000 shares from the London Stock Exchange on Friday for an average price of 6.806 pounds sterling apiece, a same-day bourse filing said.
The company intends to cancel the repurchased shares.
Following the buyback, the insurer will have 2,643,493,925 shares in issue.
