OneConnect Financial Technology (HKG:6638) said Chongfeng Shen resigned as chief executive officer and the board's chairman, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

Chen Dangyang will succeed Chongfeng as the CEO and the board's chairman. Chen was previously the assistant president for Ping An Property and Casualty Insurance between August 2021 and February 2025.

All changes are effective Feb. 5, the filing noted.

OneConnect Financial shares dropped nearly 5% in morning trade Thursday.
