Zhongrun Resources Investment (SHE:000506) said its subsidiary, Vatukoula Gold Mines (VGML), plans to sign an Option Buyback Agreement with Sandstorm Gold for $14 million, according to a Thursday filing with the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
This agreement terminates their gold purchase and net smelter return (NSR) royalty agreements, reducing VGML's financial obligations. The move aims to optimize debt structure and lower financial costs, benefiting the company and its shareholders.
