NT Minerals (ASX:NTM) reported copper and gold anomalies at its Twin Peaks copper-gold project in Western Australia, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.

It received initial assay results from an incomplete soil sampling program at the Premiership prospect in the project. The program was halted because of significant rainfall.

The copper anomalies, with grades of over 100 parts per million of copper, were recorded across six consecutive samples with a peak value of 178.01 ppm grade of copper.

Meanwhile, gold anomalies, with grades of greater than one part per billion of gold, were recorded across three consecutive samples with a peak value of 3.697 ppb grade of gold.

The firm is now reviewing the remainder of its curtailed reconnaissance and sampling program to identify expansions, the filing said.

Its shares rose 33% on market close.
