SkyCity Entertainment Group (ASX:SKC, NZE:SKC) said that delay from contractor Fletcher Construction, a unit of Fletcher Building (ASX:FBU, NZE:FBU), has pushed the opening of the New Zealand International Convention Centre to February 2026, with conference bookings now set to start at that time, according to a Friday filing with the Australian and New-Zealand bourses.

The company now expects to start commissioning and operational readiness activities in mid-2025, following the completion of the building by Fletcher Construction.
