Everest Organics (BOM:524790) said its profit attributable to shareholders jumped to 11.4 million Indian rupees in the fiscal third quarter from 163,000 rupees a year ago, according to a Tuesday filing with the BSE by the pharmaceutical company.
Earnings per share during the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2024, climbed to 1.42 rupees from 0.02 rupees a year earlier.
Revenue from operations slipped year on year to 420.5 million rupees from 525.1 million rupees, according to the filing.
Shares of the company dropped 5% in morning trade Wednesday.
