Kroger (KR) said Wednesday it has appointed David Kennerley as chief financial officer, effective April 3.

Kennerley will join the company on March 10 from PepsiCo (PEP) where he currently serves as CFO of Europe, Kroger said.

He will succeed Todd Foley, who will remain Kroger's interim finance chief through the end of its fiscal 2024 reporting period, the company said.

KR shares were 0.3% lower in recent premarket activity.
