China Vanke (HKG:2202, SHE:000002) pledged its 211,530,417 shares in Onewo (HKG:2602) as security for a 2.8 billion yuan loan, a Monday bourse filing said.

China Vanke sought a loan from its substantial shareholder, Shenzhen Metro Group, and pledged 18.29% of its 57.12% shareholding in Onewo as security.

The pledge does not constitute a guarantee and will not affect China Vanke's position as the controlling shareholder of the company, the filing said.
