Horizon Gold (ASX:HRN) began a 10,000-meter reverse circulation drilling program within its 100%-owned Gum Creek Gold project in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The mining company also completed a 15-hole diamond drilling program to infill gaps and provide geotechnical information for the project's feasibility study, per the filing.
Horizon Gold's shares jumped 10% in recent trade.
