PetMed Express logged a narrower loss for its fiscal third quarter, but also lower sales.
The Delray Beach, Fla.-based online pet pharmacy on Monday posted a net loss for the three months ended Dec. 31 of $707,000, or 3 cents a share, compared with a loss of $2 million, or 10 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier.
Sales fell to $53 million from $65.3 million a year ago.
Chief Executive Sandra Campos said that the company continues to work on delivering a more efficient organization.
