The Shanghai Stock Exchange accepted Haitong Securities' (SHA:600837, HKG:6837) application to be delisted from the bourse, according to a Tuesday disclosure on the bourse.
The securities company's A shares will be delisted as it merges with Guotai Junan Securities (HKG:2611, SHA:601211).
Guotai Junan Securities' Hong Kong shares rose less than 2% in recent trade.
