Small appliance maker Breville, known for its high-end coffee machines, will enter China’s market in the second half, hoping to convert Chinese households to at-home coffee drinkers as part of a broad ambition to sell in every Asia-Pacific market.
Chief executive Jim Clayton expects that within a decade, Breville will be selling directly in “every country bigger than New Zealand” in the region, and is eyeing the Middle East next.
