KULR Technology Group said it has partnered with Worksport to explore new domestic manufacturing in light of the White House's recent tariff proposals.

The companies said Thursday that demand for U.S. based production should increase due to the Trump administration's emphasis on tariffs, and that they are therefore looking into U.S. manufacturing options for Worksport's COR Battery Pack System and related products.

"This strategic move aligns with growing market preferences for American-made energy solutions and positions both companies for long-term scalability and expansion," they said.

KULR and Worksport said they would work together on the latter company's COR system to optimize battery management system requirements, refine cell configurations and improve overall performance and safety.

The two also are looking to incorporate AI-driven software into the battery management system for real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance and advanced data analytics.
