Sichuan Expressway (HKG:0107, SHA:601107) terminated its agreement for the acquisition of 85% equity interest in Jingmen-Yichang Expressway from Shudao (Sichuan) Innovation Investment Development on Thursday, a same-day bourse filing said.
The company had agreed to issue new A shares and make certain cash payments for the acquisition, amounting to a maximum of 2.2 billion yuan.
After the termination, all the relevant claims and obligations of the two parties are considered void.
