Clarity Medical Group Holding (HKG:1406) unit Saintford issued a writ of summons against WIT Limited and its controller Dr. Tse Wai Ip, who is also an executive director of the company, on Feb. 5, a Thursday bourse filing said.

WIT failed to meet certain revenue targets, following which the payment under a medical consultancy services agreement with the company should have been reduced.

Saintford, which paid HK$5,679,200 to WIT, is now seeking to recover the overpaid remuneration under the contract.

Saintford is also suing Tse Wai Ip over HK$1.75 million in outstanding guaranteed payments related to Dr. Lau Tze Yan Teresa's early retirement fees.

The ophthalmic healthcare services company will make further announcements as and when needed.

Trading in the shares of the company, which had been suspended since Feb. 7, resumed Wednesday.
