0851 ET - U.S. natural gas futures are higher for a seventh consecutive session as the cold blast across much of the U.S. raises demand for heating while forecasts point to frosty temperatures continuing into early March. Production freeze-offs have increased, while LNG exports remain high, analysts note. Technical indicators suggest overbought conditions, and physical prices are likely to retreat early next week as daily demand plunges, Eli Rubin of EBW Analytics says in a report. "Still, cold March weather risks after the coldest January-February in a decade are bridging bullish near-term conditions." Nymex natural gas is up 4.4% at $4.182/mmBtu. (anthony.harrup@wsj.com)
