VibroPower (SGX:BJD) said its unit Biomass Energy signed a deal to supply electricity from its biomass power plant in Sandakan, Malaysia, to Sabah Electricity, according to a Tuesday filing on the Singapore Exchange.
The plant, which runs on palm oil waste, has a maximum capacity of 11.5 megawatts. Sabah Electricity will buy up to 9 megawatts annually, with the remainder used for plant operations.
Biomass Energy must secure financing, licenses, and pass technical tests before operations start. The financial close is due by June 30, with operations expected by Oct. 31, 2026.
