SEPC (NSE:SEPC, 532945) said that the Outside Expert Committee (OEC), an alternate dispute resolution mechanism set up by Steel Authority of India's (NSE:SAIL, BOM:500113) Rourkela Steel Plant, has awarded 42.1 million Indian Rupees in favor of SEPC, according to an Indian bourse filing on Monday.
The settlement agreement, signed on Feb. 12, marks the first successful mediation between SEPC and Steel Authority of India through the alternate resolution mechanism, according to the filing.
