Aspen Group (ASX:APZ) reported Thursday that its earnings per diluted share in the fiscal first half rose to AU$0.1537, from AU$0.1224 per diluted share a year earlier.
Underlying operating earnings was 0.0807, up from 0.0685 last year.
Analysts polled by FactSet were expecting an EPS of AU$0.08.
Revenue for the six months to Dec. 31, 2024, was AU$50.9 million, up 20% from AU$42.4 million in the same period last year. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected AU$51.4 million.
For the full fiscal year, the group raised its underlying earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization guidance to AU$41.5 million, up 29% from last year.
APZ also raised Underlying EPS guidance to AU$0.167, up 21% from the previous year.
Distribution guidance for the fiscal year is also raised to AU$0.01, up 18% from last year.
The board declared an interim dividend of AU$0.05 per security, up from the AU$0.0425 in the previous reported period, payable on Feb. 28 to shareholders on record as of Dec. 31, 2024.
Shares rose past 5% in recent Thursday trade.
