Alibaba Group's (HKG:9988) cloud unit launched its first data center in Mexico, the company said in a Wednesday statement.
Alibaba Cloud's Mexico cloud region will provide cloud services to businesses, startups, developers and organizations across Latin America.
After the launch, the Chinese tech giant's infrastructure network reached 87 availability zones across 29 regions, the company said.
The company's shares fell less than 3% in recent trade.
