CapitaLand Investment's share price may rebound to S$2.68, a swing high resistance level formed at the beginning of January 2025, Phillip Securities Research's Zane Aw says in a commentary.
The share price on Monday broke out of a downtrend channel within which it had been trading since November 2024, the analyst notes.
Also, the current Bollinger bands' squeeze suggests underlying market is undergoing a low-volatility period, which is typically followed by a high-volatility period, the analyst says.
This gives a potential signal for the share price to revert to a bullish trend. Moreover, the moving average convergence divergence indicator supports the bullish view, with increasing momentum, the analyst adds. Shares are 0.8% lower at S$2.52.
