Canadian Solar Infrastructure Fund (TYO:9284) reported solar power generation of 17.25 million kWh in January, exceeding forecasts by 8%, thanks to stable irradiance across its 33 facilities despite some curtailments in Kyushu, according to a Thursday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

The solar power producer, which owns photovoltaic assets across Japan, reduced carbon emissions by 7,601 metric tons during the month. CS Hiji-machi posted the largest overperformance at 121%, while CS Takayama-shi fell to 46% due to heavy snowfall.

The company recorded a 23.6 million yen cut in variable rent income, equal to 0.51% of the period's forecast. The suspended energy output represented 0.47% of the projected generation for the fiscal period ending June 2025.
