Aussie Broadband (ASX:ABB) reported Monday that its earnings per diluted share in the fiscal first half rose to AU$0.041, from AU$0.039 per diluted share a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Visible Alpha were expecting an EPS of AU$0.058.
Revenue for the six months ended Dec. 31, 2024, was AU$588.5 million, up from about AU$445.9 million in the same period a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha expected AU$578.6 million.
The company raised its fiscal 2025 underlying earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization guidance to a range of AU$133 million to AU$138 million from a range of AU$125 million to AU$135 million.
The board declared an interim dividend of AU$0.016 per share and a special dividend of AU$0.024, payable on March 24 to shareholders on record as of March 10. The company did not propose a dividend in the previous corresponding period.
