EXoZymes and MDB Capital Holdings said Mo Hayat has transitioned out of his roles as chairman and president. Christopher Marlett, MDB's chief executive, will become chairman.
Marlett will ensure MDB will continue to provide help and support for eXoZymes, the company said Friday. Hayat will focus on new MDB Capital ventures.
Edgardo Rayo will also join the board on behalf of MDB Capital, according to eXoZymes.
The transition follows eXoZymes' corporate rebranding from Invizyne Technologies, which took place earlier this month. Shares trade on the Nasdaq under the symbol EXOZ.
