1327 ET - Keurig Dr Pepper is targeting opposite ends of the spectrum, going after coffee snobs and consumers that are tired of paying nearly $4 for their daily cup of Joe. As the cost of green coffee continues to rise, CEO Tim Cofer says on a call with analysts that the beverage company can make up expenses through premiumization, or the strategy of shifting toward the higher end of the market. At the same time, "there's an opportunity for us to further showcase the value of at-home coffee relative to away from home," given the current inflationary environment, he says.
