0744 GMT - Nordic markets are seen opening slightly lower, with IG calling the OMXS30 down 0.3% at around 2705. U.S. stock markets developed negatively yesterday, possibly due to President Trump's statement in which he said that he expects tariffs against Canada and Mexico to take effect as planned once a month-long delay is over next week, SEB analysts say in a note. Developments on European equity markets were mixed, but the Frankfurt Stock Exchange's DAX rose by 0.6%, probably due to Germany's change of government and that the prospects for a stable government look somewhat better, SEB says. Asian stock markets are generally in the red this morning, while stock market futures are currently pointing slightly upwards in the U.S. and Europe. OMXS30 closed at 2713.62, OMXN40 at 2681.42 and OBX at 1419.29. (dominic.chopping@wsj.com)
