SINGAPORE, Feb 25 (Reuters) - Middle East crude benchmark spot premiums of Oman and Murban fell on Tuesday, while that of Dubai rose.

Oil prices rose for a second day on Tuesday as fresh U.S. sanctions imposed on Middle Eastern producer Iran increased concerns supply might tighten and as global refining margins remained strong. O/R

The United States imposed a fresh round of sanctions targeting Iran's oil industry on Monday, hitting more than 30 brokers, tanker operators, and shipping companies for their role in selling and transporting Iranian petroleum, the Treasury Department said.

Taiwan's CPC bought six million barrels of sweet crude for May arrival in its latest tender.

Cash Dubai's premium to swaps rose 8 cents to $3.02 a barrel.

Malaysia's state energy firm Petroliam Nasional Bhd reported on Tuesday a drop in profit in 2024 compared to a year ago.

The dated Brent oil market has worked well since U.S. WTI crude was added to the benchmark and further changes are not planned, commodities pricing reporting agency S&P Global Commodity Insights, known as Platts, said on Monday.

Chevron CVX.N said on Monday it would reorganize some of its business structures and reshuffle the leadership team, the latest move by the U.S. energy major to simplify its operations.

Spain's second-largest oil company Moeve, formerly known as Cepsa, said on Tuesday it swung to a profit last year on the back of growing earnings at its energy and chemicals divisions, while boosting investments.

BP's chief executive will scrap a target to increase renewable generation 20-fold by 2030, returning the focus to fossil fuels, as part of a strategy shift announced on Wednesday to tackle investor concerns over earnings, two sources told Reuters.
