DeepSeek's advance in China has already extended even to home appliances, with major brands saying they are introducing the startup's artificial intelligence models, Reuters reported Thursday.
Haier Smart Home (SHA:600690, HKG:6690), Hisense Home Appliances (SHE:000921, HKG:0921), and TCL Electronics (HKG:1070) have already integrated DeepSeek into their products, the report said.
The brands already have voice commands, but DeepSeek will be able to provide better precision, according to Reuters.
DeepSeek is already working to release R2, the successor to its R1 model, the report said, citing sources.
