Feiyu Technology International (HKG:1022) expects a net loss of between 40 million yuan and 50 million yuan for the year 2024, compared with a post-tax profit of 52.2 million yuan a year prior, a Friday filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.
The game developer attributed the anticipated loss mainly to the recognition of an investment loss from an unlisted limited partnership compared with an investment gain a year prior, higher promotional and advertising expenses, and a delay in launching new HTML5 games.
