--The founders of Ben & Jerry's ice cream Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield have started conversations in recent months to buy back their namesake ice cream brand from Unilever, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
--The deal could be valued at several billion dollars and would require significant financial support to make it happen, Bloomberg reported.
--Unilever recently said the brand isn't for sale as it is an important part of its ice cream unit, which is in the process of becoming a standalone business.
