International Paper unveiled a pair of changes to its executive team, including a new top finance officer, on the heels of its roughly $7 billion acquisition of U.K. peer DS Smith.
International Paper on Friday said Tim Nicholls, who has been chief financial officer of the Memphis, Tenn., paper-products maker since 2018, will serve as executive vice president and president of DS Smith, effective April 1.
Nicholls, 63 years old, joined International Paper in 1999 and also served as finance chief from 2007 to 2011.
International Paper said Lance Loeffler, most recently senior vice president of Halliburton's Middle East and North Africa Region, is joining as senior vice president and chief financial officer.
Loeffler, 48, also served as chief financial officer of oilfield-services company Halliburton from 2018 to 2022.
International Paper said Loeffler will receive an annual base salary of $850,000 and an annual bonus with a target of 100% of his base pay.
