JD.com (HKG:9618), Skyworth (HKG:0751), and BOE Technology (SHE:000725) launched a 100-inch mini-light emitting diode television set for 10,000 yuan, Yicai Global reported Monday.
The mini-LED TV is seen to attract the Chinese premium TV market, the report said.
Net of Chinese government subsidies, the large TV could cost about 9,000 yuan, Yicai said.
Chinese manufacturers such as TCL Electronics (HKG:1070), Hisense Home Appliances (HKG:0921, SHE:000921), and Changhong Electronic (SHA:600839) have been focusing on manufacturing mini-LED TVs with 98-inch and 100-inch models for 10,000 yuan, the report said.
