Dow Jones
02-26

0040 GMT - South Korea's benchmark Kospi fell 0.4% to 2620.92 in early trade, as shipbuilding and energy shares retreat. Trading volume is thin as investors turn more cautious in the face of growing uncertainty over Trump's tariff policy and U.S. rate moves, Kiwoom Securities analysts say in a note. Foreign and institutional investors are net sellers. Shipmaker Hanwha Ocean falls 3.1%. Oil refiner S-Oil loses 2.1%. Meanwhile, rolling-stock supplier Hyundai Rotem rises 0.5%, paring early sharp gains fueled by a new contract win in Morocco. USD/KRW is 0.1% lower at 1,429.40 in Seoul onshore trading. South Korea's 10-year government bond yield is down 2.8 bps at 2.797%. (kwanwoo.jun@wsj.com)
