AUB Group (ASX:AUB) reported Tuesday that its earnings per diluted share in the fiscal first half fell to AU$0.2249 from AU$0.4845 per diluted share a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Visible Alpha were expecting an EPS of AU$0.559.
Underlying earnings per share was AU$0.6807, up from AU$0.6476 a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha expected underlying EPS of AU$0.686.
Revenue from ordinary activities for the six months ended Dec. 31, 2024, was AU$547.7 million, up 8.4% from the same period a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha expected underlying group revenue of AU$684 million.
For fiscal 2025, the group comprising insurance brokers and underwriting agencies reaffirmed its underlying net profit after tax outlook of AU$190 million to AU$200 million.
The board declared an interim dividend of AU$0.25 per share, up from the AU$0.20 in the previous reported period, payable on April 4 to shareholders on record as of March 7.
