Southern Cross Gold Consolidated (ASX:SX2) said drilling results from the Christina prospect at its Sunday Creek gold-antimony project in Victoria expanded the project's mineralized footprint by 15% while confirming its high-grade potential, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The results included significant intercepts of one meter at 20.8 grams per tonne grade of gold-equivalent, 0.5 meters at 76.1 g/t grade of gold-equivalent, and 0.5 meters at 41.3 g/t grade of gold-equivalent.
Results from 14 drill holes at the project are currently being processed and analyzed, while five holes are currently being drilled.
