0820 ET - J.M. Smucker names a new head for its two struggling business units, retail pet food and sweet baked snacks. The company promotes Judd Freitag to lead the two divisions, and says that Dan O'Leary, a Hostess executive who Smucker had appointed to oversee the baked snacks business when it acquired the company, will depart Smucker. Sales have been weak in the two divisions, and that continued in F3Q. Smucker says sales in its pet food and baked snacks units fell 9% and 7%, respectively, reflecting lower sales for dog snacks and Hostess snack cakes.(jesse.newman@wsj.com)
