OpenText has lined up EQB's finance chief, Chadwick Westlake, to take on the role of chief financial officer as the information-management software pushes for growth.
Westlake will succeed Madhu Ranganathan, becoming executive vice president and CFO starting March 5.
The company said the appointment reinforces its top priorities of revenue growth, an increased competitive advantage, margin and free cash flow expansion, and upper-quartile capital returns.
Westlake, who has held various positions at Bank of Nova Scotia for more than 18 years including his final role as executive vice president of enterprise productivity and Canadian banking finance, is set to leave EQB effective March 4. The financial services company on Tuesday said it plans to announce a new CFO in due course.
