Viper Energy (VNOM) reported Q4 adjusted net income Monday of $1.93 per diluted share, up from $0.67 per share a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.43.
Operating income for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was $228.7 million, up from $204.7 million a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $222.3 million.
The company said its board declared a base dividend of $0.30 per class A share and a variable cash dividend of $0.35 per share for Q4.
The dividends are payable March 13 to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 6.
Shares of Viper Energy were up over 3% in after-hours trading.
