American Airlines Group (AAL) shares rose as much as 3.5% Wednesday after Redburn Atlantic upgraded the stock to buy from neutral and increased the price target to $24 from $18.
Intraday volume topped 28.8 million shares versus the daily average of almost 29.9 million.
