Strickland Metals (ASX:STK) said it intersected 490 meters of porphyry-related veining, alteration, and gold anomalism at the Jezerska Reka target at its Rogozna gold-base metals project in Serbia, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
Reka Resources, the firm's Serbian unit, drilled a second hole to test the Jezerska Reka target in late 2024.
The drilling returned an intercept of 493 meters at 0.14 grams per tonne grade of gold from a depth of 223.6 meters.
A new zoned surface geochemical target, Jezerska North, has been identified at the project and it will be drill tested as part of its upcoming exploration program. A magneto-telluric survey is also being planned to assist with targeting the north of the Jezerska Reka target.
Its shares fell 5% on market close on Tuesday.
