UOB-Kay Hian (SGX:U10), through its unit, UOB-Kay Hian (BVI), acquired 20,000 additional shares in its Thai subsidiary, UOB Kay Hian Securities Thailand (SET:UOBKH), at 4.6352 baht apiece, according to a Monday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
Following the purchase, UOB-Kay Hian's indirect shareholding in the subsidiary stood at 18.56%.
The total number of shares held directly by UOB-Kay Hian in the Thai entity remains unchanged at 70.65%.
