Albertsons Companies (ACI) named Chief Operations Officer Susan Morris to succeed Vivek Sankaran as chief executive officer following his retirement, effective May 1.
Morris, 56. will also join the board of directors, replacing Sankaran, the company said Monday in a regulatory filing.
