Repay Holdings has begun a strategic review to consider options including a merger, sale or privatization.
The payment technology platform said Monday it is aiming to improve value for shareholders. It hasn't set a deadline for when the review will be completed and doesn't intend to comment further or provide updates until the review is done.
In the fourth quarter, Repay's revenue edged up 3% to $78.3 million, below analysts' expectations of $82.3 million. Profit increased 2% to $23.2 million, in line with estimates.
Revenue from consumer payments fell 7% to $76.5 million.
